Ho deciso di regalare un telefonino del costo di 500 euro ad un mio familiare e decido, trovandolo anche in vendita su Buzzbid, di partecipare alla gara d'acquisto mettendo a disposizione una somma pari al 50% del costo (250 euro), comprensiva sia del costo dei bid che di prezzo finale di aggiudicazione.

Ho la certezza di aggiudicarmelo con 250 euro? Certamente no ma se me lo aggiudico ho fatto sicuramente un grande affare acquistandolo con uno sconto che sicuramente sarà almeno del 50% ma che potrebbe salire anche al 60%, 70% oppure 80%.

Non me lo aggiudico? Nessun problema, Buzzbid mi dà la possibilità di acquistarlo al prezzo pieno detraendomi il costo pagato per i bid e quindi al prezzo di mercato al quale comunque lo avrei comprato, visto che avevo deciso di acquistarlo.

La stessa identica possibilità ce l'hanno anche tutti gli altri partecipanti che desiderano avere quel telefonino e non se lo sono aggiudicato.

Posso anche utilizzare un'altra strategia, ossia valutare dallo storico delle vendite a che prezzo medio è stato venduto un dato prodotto e decidere di tentare l'aggiudicazione investendo solo qualche decina di euro, per un oggetto che ne vale anche 1.000 o 2000, facendo la mia offerta al momento opportuno, se me lo aggiudico bene, altrimenti ho solo speso qualche decina di euro e mi sono divertito.

Esiste anche chi partecipa per il gusto della competizione ma qui entriamo in un altro settore dove non conta più il risparmio e prevale il puro spirito del confronto e l'appagamento di stati emotivi.

Allo stesso modo si comporta il pescatore sportivo che non è interessato a procurarsi il pesce ad un prezzo equo di mercato ma trova l'appagamento nella competizione e nel confronto con altri pescatori.

Non me lo sono mai domandato ma quanto mi è costato al kg quel pesce che per cacciarlo mi sono munito di muta, pinne, maschera, bombole, boccaglio, palloncino di segnalazione, fucile ad aria compressa, ecc.? Sicuramente una cifra esorbitante.

Per tornare al commento della frase del mio amico e collega, desidero anche precisare che la somma di 2700 è stata spesa da un numero indefinito di partecipanti, ciascuno con le proprie motivazioni e strategie, mo non certamente dai suoi amici ai quali ha dato concretamente un'importante opportunità.

In merito all'ipotesi del telefonino fatta dal mio amico, desidero portare un esempio concreto, preso dal sito www.bidrivals.com, che chiunque può verificare di persona.
